The UK government require a collective input from business, industry and government, all working together to unlock and increase the contribution that the North makes to the wider UK economy. The UK Northern economy has the potential to benefit from an additional £100 billion gross value add over the next three decades, and in doing so an additional 850,000 jobs could be created.

Manchester Airport is the third largest airport in the UK and the global gateway to the North of England. With Manchester expected to play a significant role as one of the economic ‘powerhouses’ in the North of England, investment in infrastructure and transportation are key for the city and vital to help accelerate growth potential across the UK.
Arcadis was appointed to support Programme Management for the entire transformation scheme, encompassing Programme and Project Management, Project Controls, Cost, Commercial, Risk, Value Management.
