In March, the Lovinklaan Board gathered in Rotterdam, setting the stage for a dynamic and forward-looking period ahead. Our time in Rotterdam was marked by promising updates on our programs and engaging discussions that underscored our commitment to empowering Arcadians worldwide.
During the meeting, we shared key updates on our ongoing programs – namely, Skills Powered Organization, Sustain Abilities, Imagine, and Quest. As a major shareholder and incubator, we continue to amplify our investment in programs that drive the growth and development of Arcadians. Exciting announcements are on the horizon, including updates on ongoing programs and the introduction of new initiatives that will be announced soon. Keep an eye out for these!
Forging connections

One of the standout moments was an engaging staff presentation held at the Arcadis Rotterdam Office, where we had the privilege of sharing insights with our esteemed colleagues, including Jitse Tiemersma, Director of Katalys, and Cecile Cluitmans, Netherlands Country Director and former board member and Chair of Lovinklaan.
We also had the pleasure of sharing two delightful dinner gatherings. One with Hans Dekker, Jitske Tiemersma, Riëtte Blancquiere (board member of Katalys), and another with some Lovinklaan Program Managers, alongside our colleagues from Rotterdam. These gathering provided a platform for networking and building camaraderie among colleagues, further strengthening our bond. We took the opportunity to establish connections with Katalys, further expanding our network and potential collaborations. We also connected with fellow Arcadians and senior leaders that are based in our Netherlands offices and with our program managers.
Looking ahead, a significant focus of our discussions was on enhancing Lovinklaan’s communication strategy for 2024. Our plans include a comprehensive redesign of our website.
As we reflect on our time in Rotterdam, we are energized and inspired by the progress made and the possibilities that lie ahead. Through continued collaboration and innovation, we are confident in our ability to drive positive change within the Arcadis community.
