Shelter Program provides mission to the Philippines
Via the Shelter Program, Arcadians can share their pro bono knowledge and expertise to find solutions for global urbanization issues in the field of infrastructure, environment and water.
Last December, an international team with Arcadians went to the Philippines Ilo-Ilo follow-up Shelter mission. The main purpose of the mission was to provide technical support to the UN-Habitat Country Office in the Philippines by mobilizing experts or specialists that will complement with the implementation of the ASUD (Achieving Sustainable Urban Development) project in the city of Iloilo. Shelter team members were Alex Chua from Arcadis US, Jeroen Helder from Arcadis Netherlands and Paul Magbanua from Arcadis Philippines.
