We are very excited to announce that Jess Sandford from Arcadis UK has been selected as City Councillor of Generation 2018 thanks to her outstanding application. John Batten (Global Cities Director) was very impressed with Jess’ application. The title City Councillor means that Jess has officially been pre-selected to be a Global Shaper of Generation 2018. Congratulations Jess!
With Mayor Dibya Maheswari, winner of the pre-application challenge, Jess is officially the 2nd Global Shaper of this year.
Jess’ application focuses on London. She demonstrates great understanding of the application challenge by analyzing the city’s key challenges, providing a vision and concrete solutions for London of the future, cleverly including client outcomes, and presents herself and her role in this journey. And all of this in a visually attractive way. Great job and hence a well-deserved spot in Global Shapers: Generation 2018!
